Do you think that I have come to establish peace
on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division.

Therefore:

Let whoever is simple turn in here;
to him who lacks understanding, I say,
Come, eat of my food,
and drink of the wine I have mixed!
Forsake foolishness that you may live;
advance in the way of understanding.
For by me your days will be multiplied
and the years of your life increased.

I assume you mean the February unknown artists feature. I will not even begin to concede to being God, although He surely lives in me.

:iconthegingerb-readman:
how quickly and easily you give yourself away.

what is your problem with me? ...that's the only valid question to be asked here. but, don't think I don't already know the answer. thankfully, you're done here.

Oh my. I can't believe i have actually degraded myself by actually seeing what all the fricken fuss is about. I by no means claim to be well known or even a great artist, quite personally your probably quite a few steps up, but still what the hell is your problem. I have nothing against you but do you actually realize what you have done for yourself. You have ruined your image. Are you satisfied, you actually accomplished just the opposite of what you wanted. You wanted to be well known, well now your well known for being an arrogant prick. Instead of acting like a child maybe you should try humbling yourself to critisism. Maybe instead of demanding to be in, you should actually try to make yourself better by accepting critisism and adapting yourself to it. You can think of yourself however you want, but truthfully all that matters is what other people think of you. I know that you probably will discount all that i am saying and will most likely just rebut with your cunning, witty, and pitifully arrogant rebutals. Quite frankly i have never been so surprised in my life. You think of yourself like royalty does. Maybe you should look up in history and you would learn that that kind of attitude simply makes people just dislike you more. I know that i have no right to tell you how to act/behave, but really you should think more about what your doing. You have ruined your chance of being mentioned in UA for a long time to come, unless you make something truly phenomenal, and you have tarnished your image for quite some time. Im gonna tell you somethin, no one respects arrogants, no one wants to listen to people that think that their stuff is next to divine quality, and for god sakes no one wants to respect you if all you do is put up a brick wall to them. Now to wrap this up, PLEASE don't take this as a personal attack against you, but rather see it for what it is. The only reason I am posting this rather long... whatever... is because i believe your in need of some serious help. Please take what i have said to heart, for it might do you some good.
:icondisate:
Right, that's it. Where do you and others get off telling someone that they are in "need of some serious help"? How dare you presume to know anything about anyone from scant conversations, by doing this it is you who is behaving in an arrogant and ignorant manner.

As for :devthegingerb - readman: putting himself forward to be featured in UA, I have absolutely no problems with his actions. There is nothing wrong with believing in your work and yourself. Other people put themselves forward all the time, he just cut through all the bullshit in his approach. Hell, he didn't demand for his work to be a Daily Deviation, and if you read through the comments on his poetry you will see that he has been open to suggestions and views when people have actually taken the time to read it. I think too many people think that they know a lot about writing/poetry, and expect the poem to adjust to them, rather than being open enough to adjust themselves to the poem.

By the way, all that matters is not what other people think of you, it is what you think of yourself and others.

hahahaha! what a wreck of a comment! I'm sorry, this is truly laughable...that's about all. yours is probably the worst, most fanatical thing I've yet read from my horde of "secret admirers." congratulations!
